MacAndrews added the 700 teu Werder Bremen to his weekly container shipping service between Portugal, Ireland, the United Kingdom and Holland.

AGENCY NETWORK STRENGTHENED IN KEY EUROPEAN MARKETS
MacAndrews Germany GmbH and MacAndrews Belgium NV are now operational, based in Hamburg and Antwerp respectively. In August, MacAndrews Holland BV will open, based in Rotterdam. All three will be wholly-owned subsidiaries of MacAndrews & Co Ltd (London).

MACANDREWS SHRINKS CARBON FOOTPRINT WITH NEW REEFER XPRESS
MacAndrews, the UK based subsidiary of CMA CGM, launched their new Reefer Xpress Service on 23rd June between Bilbao, Sheerness and Rotterdam. The first sailing was made from the Port of Bilbao by the 300 teu mv ‘Georg Mitchell’ and will provide a fixed day weekly frequency, upgrading to twice weekly in 2008.
