BUNKER ADJUSTMENT FACTOR (BAF)
The Member Lines of the above Conference wish to advise that over the last year they have been faced with continuing increases in the price of fuel. To date every effort has been made to absorb these additional costs. However, the situation has now developed to a point where the Lines find that they can no longer absorb these costs. In line with other operators the Lines are therefore left with no alternative but to review the current BAF with effect from vessels loading in Poland or UK on or after 12th October 2007.
The following level will apply: UK PORTS TO / FROM POLAND £20.00 PER TEU
